Graduation Day at Khemara Kidshelp School (KKS) took place on 7th January 2024. This has become a favourite annual event which is loved by all. Every year we look forward with great expectations to see what performances, dances and games, the teachers and students have organised.
Teachers from the KKS are responsible for the presentation. This year, a former pupil, who is now in his 4th year of studying English at university, was one of the presenters.
As every year, the best students of all grades receive certificates for successfully completing a year at the school.
After a traditional dance, the speech competition began. The pupils choose a topic, prepare pictures and brief information about the topic they want to present on a poster, and take it in turns to present the topic.
A jury – usually made up of Graduation Day visitors – evaluates the speeches. The winners win a bicycle. However, no one goes away empty-handed, and the scores are often very close. A total of 5 groups gave presentations. These were once again interrupted by a dance.
The speech competition was followed by some fun games such as “musical chairs”, bursting balloons and much more. The raffle is still the most fun for everyone.
